La Jolla to Stinson Beach Via the 101  For Spring break in April 2004, We packed the Tahoe & headed North out of San Diego up the 101 through LA, Santa Barbara, Big Sur, Santa Cruz, and into San Francisco. There wasn't much surf in Santa Barbara, but we checked out some of the surf breaks anyway with friends.  Then we headed North up past El Capitan and through Pismo Beach.  We saw lots of happy cows and Morro Rock before we entered into Big Sur.  Big Sur was cool with great vista's and some prime photos, but Santa Cruz was the most fun and we scored some surf too.  Just after we arrived in San Francisco, we landed in Muir woods for a  long hike through the huge trees.   April 15th 2004
